Lust List #27: Christmas Wish List

Lust List #27: Christmas Wish List - The Dressed Aesthetic

Ohhh I just love this time of year! The weather is crisp, the egg nog starts flowing, and all of my favorite shops start to glitter with items to add to my wishlist. Despite the fact that life has been insanely busy lately, I cannot deny that I’ve made some time to write to Santa and let him know there are more than a few things I’m hoping will turn up under my tree this year…

I‘ve been doing my best to try to get a jump on holiday shopping this year – I admit other things have been taking priority, but finding that perfect gift for someone is always try favorite part of Christmas. And to add a bit of extra sparkle, the fact that we don’t have to ship those perfect gifts halfway around the world is a huge bonus.

Although I try to focus solely on gifts for my loved ones, there are a few things I’ve spied that would look perfect in my wardrobe (eh hem), should Santa be so inclined….

To Deck the Halls

For the past several years, we’ve had a fake Christmas tree (which has worked for our lives on multiple levels). But, that doesn’t mean I don’t miss the smell of the real thing….

Despite the fact that there is always stress around the holidays, I can’t help but feel excited. Excited to be done with teaching for the semester. Excited to decorate our tree and start to pile the presents underneath. Excited to have my mom come down and get to share in her first southern Christmas.

So, I guess if I’m going to avoid the stress of the holidays I should probably start shopping for other people and stop drooling over all of the things I want for myself. But I can’t be blamed when all of my favorite vintage shops are posting things that are too cute for words!

Ahhh I love the holidays. I can already hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting-tingling, too….

What are you wishing for this year??

xoxo
