As many of you know, I’m galavanting around Middle Earth at the moment. I almost cannot speak for all of the beauty that’s around me (and yes, I definitely found a few vintage treasures to share when I’m back!) So, while I’m away enjoying all that New Zealand has to offer, I thought I’d let you peruse all that some of my favorite shops currently have to offer.

You know I’m an absolute sucker for twirlworthy dresses. This dress has it in spades.
The colors on this 1950’s sundress are watercolor perfection and that neckline has me swooning!
I just can’t ever seem to get enough of border prints… and the border on this dress is a psychedelic cat print!

I already have the black version of these shoes and am so tempted by the metallics. Believe me when I say they are the most comfortable shoes in the history of shoes…
Is there anything in this world better than SHOES? And bows. And polka dots? These shoes are everything and belong on my feet…

I love everything about Midas of Miami bags, and this one is all kinds of lovely.

No matter how many I own, I can never get enough of unique vintage handbags, especially ones like this that are boxy and shiny with a red velvet lining…

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. New Zealand has been absolutely amazing so far. The conference just ended yesterday and I’m spending today getting organized for the next portion of my time here, which is to pay a visit to my old PhD stomping ground – Leigh Marine Lab – where I’m giving a lecture and working on a consultancy project for their Visitors Centre. And I just might have time to pop into a few Auckland vintage shops along the way…
Mr. Dressed Aesthetic flies in tomorrow afternoon and we’ll be dividing our time between my last few work responsibilities, and then a whole lot of galavanting around the North Island. Photos to come soon…
