{Favorites} : Au Revoir April - The Dressed Aesthetic

They weren’t kidding about the whole “April Showers” thing. It’s been raining seemingly nonstop for weeks, and I personally can’t wait for the May flowers portion of the tour. I know we need rain and all that, but it casts a grey dreariness around town and is simply NOT a friend to a good suede shoe…

Despite the rain, I managed to catch a few rays of sunshine here and there this past month. And nothing cuts through the gloom like a bright, colorful vintage dress. So, here’s a roundup of some of my favorite outfits from April – for full outfit details, feel free to check out the original post!

With June shaping up to be insanely busy with (yet) more travel, I’m looking at May as sort of the eye of the storm at work (as in, normal level crazy and not Kara’s-head-exploding level crazy). Some days, it would be great to have a Crazy Barometer where people would know a storm’s a brewing….

To help keep me above the sanity threshold, May has some exciting blog happenings, including introducing you to new vintage stores, reviewing a few vintage-inspired dresses, and giving you a sneak peak into the Bindaring Red Cross Clothing Sale. Ahhh I just love when the future is chock full of vintagey goodness.

Speaking of vintagey-goodness, don’t forget to enter my giveaway to win $100AUD Etsy gift card! You can use it to scoop up that stunning vintage dress you have your eye on and support an independent business along the way. Read all about the details and enter to win on the post: Shopping Small on Etsy.

So, any pretties catch your eye this past month?

xoxo
