{Favorites} : The J Files

Given the mayhem that was June and July this year, I barely had time to stop for a coffee, let alone collate my favorite June looks! So, I’ve decided to reflect on the last two months (which seriously felt like only one) and combine my outfit overviews for June and July.

It’s been a really exciting few months, and I think I literally experienced every season there is! Traveling to the glorious summer of the US meant I got to dust off my sundresses, which were starting to feel sorely neglected here in the wintery gloom of Perth. I enjoyed flipping through previous favorite looks – some of which felt like years ago instead of just last month. When I was young, the end of July was always the saddest month for me, because it meant that summer vacation was more than half over. Though there was still several weeks of sunshine, I remember starting to get that feeling I now feel about midday on Sunday – the impending dawn of a new week. A new school year. A new era. And, as 1 August bloomed on my calendar this morning, I similarly have that jolt that things are barreling towards change.

There’s a LOT going on this month. Things at the lab are busier than ever, as the whole University is buzzing with recruiting new students and all of the events that surround it. Heaps coming up on the blog this month too, including sharing a family photo shoot and introducing you guys to some new amazing vintage shops. Although it’s bound to be hectic, I far prefer busy to boring.
